Beyond the Taj Mahal: Inside India
Victoria Lautman holds a Masters Degree in art history from George Washington University and a Bachelors Degree in anthropology and Art History from the University of New Mexico. She attended Merton College at Oxford University for archeological field training. Following graduate school, Lautman was employed by the Smithsonian Institute’s Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Gardens.
For over 25 years Ms. Lautman was heard on public radio in Chicago as host and contributor. She has written for dozens of international publications on architecture, design, art and India.
As a veteran journalist specializing in culture, Victoria Lautman has searched out the most interesting and unusual sights during 35 years of excursions, often alone, through the country she loves – India. It is her off-the-itinerary Indian adventures that occupy most of her time, and which she will share with us.
