Trumpism, Racism and the Decline of American Democracy
Larry N. Gerston engages the political process as an author and an analyst. He has written 13 academic books, the most recent of which is California’s Recall Election of Gavin Newsom. His Public Policymaking in a Democratic Society: A Guide to Civic Engagement emphasizes “hands on” citizen participation. Gerston is currently researching and writing Trumpism, Racism and the Decline of American Democracy. He has penned more than 150 op-ed pieces for every major newspaper in California and is the on-air political analyst for NBC Bay Area television and KCBS radio. He has also appeared on NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, CNN, PBS, and BBC. He speaks often on issues such as civic engagement and political empowerment. Gerston has also written four children’s books.
