A Day at the Musée d’Orsay
Art history has influenced nearly every aspect of Stehr’s life, beginning with a 1991 degree in Art History from Stanford University. He started his own business in Oakland — Sistine Chapel Art & Art History. From this base he delivers lectures and guides annual art history tours to Rome and Paris. In 2014 he was honored with an exhibition in Rome, displaying 14 of his paintings that celebrate his love for the Eternal City. At his gallery Stehr offers an annual exhibition of his traditional oil paintings. In addition, he takes on custom residential projects for interior paint and plaster finishes, murals and gold leafing.
