Michael Kodas is a Pultizer Prize-winning journalist. His book Megafire: The Race to extinguish a Deadly Epidemic of Flame won the Colorado Book Award for General Nonfiction and was named one of the top 20 nonfiction books of the year by Amazon.
Michael has presented multimedia programs at Google, Yale University, the University of Connecticut, AARP, and many other organizations across the country.
Kodas is the former Deputy Director of the Center for Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado.
He has worked as a newspaper photographer, writer and editor for 25 years. His focus is on global environment, social, mountain, marine, and wilderness issues.
