Americans in Paris: Impressionism and the American Experience
Denise Erickson received both her graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara in a combined major of History and Art History. She was the recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities Grant for Advanced Graduate Study, and was later awarded an NEH Grant for Teaching Scholars.
Denise is Professor of Art History at Cañada College, and is a lecturer at the Cantor Art Center at Stanford. Prof. Erickson is currently Director of the Cañada College Center for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Program Coordinator for the GE Pathways Honors Program.
Professor Erickson has led many specialized tours of art museums, private collections, and gardens in the United States and Europe.
