The Human Genome – What We Know and What We Want to Know
Robert Kuhn received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied the centromeres of yeast. Following a postdoctoral at UC Berkeley/USDA Plant Gene Expression Center, he taught biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics at UC Santa Cruz.
Robert Kuhn joined the UC Santa Cruz Genome Browser project in 2003, where he is now Associate Director, helping to bring the fruits of the Human Genome (and other) Project(s) to scientists worldwide.
