Robert Sillen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver and a Masters degree in public health from Yale University.

He is the former Executive Director of the Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System and the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Sillen was a Founder of the Valley Medical Center and was a board member of the San Jose Leadership Council.
